•YouTube Native Captions: 1 credit flat per video (regardless of length) - uses YouTube's existing captions
•Whisper Transcription: 1 credit per minute - used when native captions aren't available (TikTok, Twitter, Vimeo, uploads, etc.)
•Word-for-Word Timestamps: 1.5 credits per minute (1.5x) when enabling precise word-level timestamps

Examples:

•10-minute YouTube video with captions = 1 credit
•10-minute TikTok video = 10 credits (Whisper transcription)
•10-minute video with word timestamps = 15 credits

If you encounter significant errors, please contact our support team at support@transcripthq.io. In cases of system errors, your credits will be automatically refunded.

Yes, once the transcription process has started, it will complete even if you navigate away. You can find your completed tasks in your history. If an error occurs, your credits will be refunded automatically.

Your credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month. Your monthly allocation is refreshed automatically when your billing period renews.
